ER & HR Advisor- 9 month FTC

You Will:
Deliver accurate and consistent specialist advice and support to line managers on all aspects of employment policy and employee relations issues, including Disciplinary Misconduct, Attendance, Performance, Grievance, Appeal, Probation, Underlying Ill Health, Sickness Absence cases, Redundancies, Collective Grievances; Annual Leave, non-discretionary leaves e.g. Maternity, Paternity, Adoption.
Monitor trends in employment practices and advising on appropriate proactive action
Deliver KPI/ER Metric reporting and analysis
Support the design and implementation of HR Tools across sites
Be accountable in supporting the Senior Employee Relations Advisor in the successful delivery of the new centralised ER service to the Business.
Ensure all ER delivery is in line with changing UK legislation (e.g ACAS).
Be responsible for the delivery of consistent and accurate specialist advice and support to all line management on people policies.
Be responsible for maintaining up to date case information on the relevant CRM system.
Communicate to other business areas where the Case requires it (e.g. Occupational Health)
Ensure all advice is in line with company policy and most up to date employment legislation.
Support capability development of Line Management on employee relations activity through coaching and advice.
Provide expertise in consultation, and support for complex disciplinary meetings.
Liaise with HR Business Partners to discuss trends and issues that are relevant to operation of the business in their area.
Update and maintain the ER Case tracker
Update and maintain the ER Training matrix
Provide AD hoc generalist advisor duties, COED's etc
You Have:
Excellent ability to advise and constructively challenge managers of all levels.
An ability to make and deliver difficult or complex decisions in a positive manner.
Highly developed planning and organisational skills to meet day-to-day and future business needs.
An ability to judge the severity of employment relation issues they advise on and determine where more experienced or specialist input may be required.
Scope to identify and monitor trends (e.g. in the volumes of their work, policy areas).
Customer relationship and customer service skills.
Competency to coach managers and provide remote advice and support.
An ability to diagnose problems / issues.
Analytical skills and information from a variety of sources and prioritise actions appropriately.
The experience to provide suitable solutions based on information available.
In depth knowledge of Employee Relations policies, procedures and processes and significant experience of managing their application.
Knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS direction.
An ability to apply commercial and strategic awareness to problem solving.
Inherent Innovative and solutions based thinking.
Proven experience of managing complex, high profile employee relations issues in an efficient and effective manner
Ability to work on own initiative and work well under pressure and not afraid to ask questions
Confident on Excel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
